
The Heavy Equipment Operators class had their first hands on day today in Twin Buttes, north of Halliday. What an experience!





A day well spent at Manufacturing Day in Dickinson with the Sophomore class. Industry tours followed at Dakota Community Bank and Baker Boy!











The 4th graders did an experiment today finding out if a potato can provide energy to a light bulb.









Flu shots will be given at the school on Wednesday, October 25. Forms are available in the school office or can be downloaded from the school website. Please let the office know if you would like forms sent home with your children.

Wildfire Day! Elementary students were excited to hear about a VOCABULARY CONTEST being started by our superintendent, Mr. Slayton! September birthdays were also celebrated!



At the monthly assembly this morning, students in grades 7-12 competed in a game called Head-Shoulders-Knees-Cup. They had to follow all of Mrs. Mayer's directions and be the first to grab the cup. Julianna, Matthew, and Elaina made it to the final three, and Julianna was the champ!




On Monday, Violet and Liam Schaible brought in acorns to share with the rest of the class.


Picture Retakes will be Tuesday, October 17. There are forms available in the office. If your child is getting retakes done, please bring back the picture order that was sent home this week.

Reminder: There will be an Elementary Boys Basketball parent/player meeting tonight, September 25, at 7:00 at the High School Gym. At least one parent will need to attend with their player.

The 7th, 8th, and 9th graders attended the T4 Summit in Bowman yesterday. [Tools, trade, torche, and technology.] This was a career exploration day giving a hands on approach to learning and planting some seeds for potential careers. Over 500 students attended the event including 11 schools ND, SD, and MT.










Tuesday was Twin/Adam Sandler day for Homecoming dress up days. Here are a few of our "twins".











There will be an Elementary Boys Basketball parent/player meeting on Monday, September 25th at 7:00 at the High School Gym. An informational letter is going home with the boys today, September 21.
