Mott-Regent Public Schools

Due to missing school days because of the weather in December, we will now have school on the scheduled storm days of February 20 and April 10. We will be making up December 16th & December 21st on those days. We will not be making up December 22nd.

The HS BBB (AB) game on Thursday, December 22 @ Center/Stanton has been moved to January 16 with the first game starting at 4:30 MT.

Due to deteriorating weather and road conditions, there will be no school on Thursday, December 22. Grade 7-12 students will follow today's semester test schedule on Tuesday, January 3, and tomorrow's semester test schedule on Wednesday, January 4. Please be safe and enjoy your winter break. We will see you on Tuesday, January 3.

Miss Kraft’s 6th grade class has been hard at work researching holidays around the world. For a project, they each chose a country and made a present that consisted of information. To wrap their researching up, the students partnered up with their parents to bring in a dish, containing a recipe from their country for a “Holidays Around the World Feast”. We tasted different foods & listened to each others presentations about Argentina, Australia, The Netherlands, Spain, England, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Canada, Sweden, and Germany!

The HS BBB (AB) game @ Flasher for today, December 17, has been postponed until January 27th. The first game will start at 5:30 MT.

Due to blizzard conditions that will last into Friday morning and widespread power outages there will be no school on Friday, December 16. Please stay safe. We hope to see you all on Monday.

Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, the Mott-Regent School District will use virtual learning for Thursday, December 15. Teachers will be available online to work with students from 8:20am until 3:20pm. All extracurricular activities scheduled for Thursday; December 15 have been cancelled.

Students can go to the website on their iPads and click the link. It will take them to teams and they can join the meeting. The website is Mott.k12.nd.us. All extracurricular activities scheduled for Wednesday, December 14 have been cancelled or rescheduled for a later date. The school board meeting scheduled for Wednesday; December 14 will be held virtually and has been moved to Microsoft TEAMS.

Parents of grade K-6 students, did your child forget to bring home a book to read and/or you have no books at home for them to read? Many classes have access to Epic! on their iPads, it’s a free reading app that gives your son or daughter access to thousands of books! Can you say “839 POUNDS!” The 6th grade class helped deliver non-perishable donations to our local Food Bank this afternoon. Well done, MRPS!

FACS 1 and 2nd Grade students enjoyed decorating cookies together today!

Congratulations to the 5th grade class for winning the “Fishing” for Good Behavior award in PE class for the 2nd quarter. Mrs. Krenz is very proud of each and every one of you! This class has shown outstanding leadership and such great sportsmanship and participation in each game and being so good to one another!

Come and get into the Christmas spirit by watching the K-6 Christmas program at 1:30 in the gym.

FFA has extra greenery and fruit for sale. If you missed ordering, now is your chance. All welcome to join us at the Elementary Christmas Concert tomorrow, Thursday December 8th at 1:30 pm at the Mott-Regent High School Gym. Students are encouraged to wear holiday clothes, but even a red, or green, or white shirt and nice jean's or pants. Please no ripped jean or flashing lights.
