It's been Wildfire Day around here! 🔥 Both K-6 and 7-12 enjoyed their assemblies with lotsa good news to share. Ms. Friedt spoke to the 7-12th graders about fresh starts, new beginnings, and taking chances. Mr. Slayton shared the vocabulary.com standings with the elementary students. Both assemblies heard a sweet Halloween-themed song from the HS Choir and the 3rd grade class!

Students and staff, grades 6-12, heard from 3 inmates today who are currently serving time at the Women's Correctional Center in New England on drug-related charges. In addition, we heard all about bringing Lyon to the Hettinger County Sheriff's Office and the important work he is doing in our county.

With colder temperatures and snow here, please be sure your child is properly dressed for the weather. Coats, hats, gloves, snow pants, and snow boots make recess more enjoyable. Thank you!
