Medical Terminology students completed an edible lab today about the layers of the skin. This included pudding as the dermis, marshmallows as subcutaneous tissue, M&Ms as sebaceous glands, skittles as sudoriferous glands, whipped cream as the epidermis, chocolate sprinkles and graham crackers as melanin, and licorice as hair follicles.
