    Due Dates

Math: Students are allowed to make corrections on math assignments to receive ½ credit back.

    (Mrs. Greff)

Spelling: Students are given a spelling pretest prior to receiving their spelling words. If they get 9 of the 12 words correct (2 of the words are bonus words), they do not need to take the end of the week test. Students are assigned spelling on the first day of the school week. I send home a hard copy of the words and post the words to BLOOMz. We take tests on 4 and 5 day weeks only.

    (Mrs. L’Esperance)

Late work: I accept all late work 3 days prior to the quarter's end for full credit. In the event the family attends a funeral, your student will be exempt from my classroom work.

    Completed Work:
All completed work will be kept in my classroom. Students are welcome to take home any completed work they would like too. I offer it to them and if they do not wish to take it home, I keep it in a box until the end of the quarter. At the end of every quarter I empty the box and repeat this process.

    Book Worm:
Book Worm is sent home at the beginning of the month and due at the end of the month. 5th and 6th graders are required to read 10 minutes a day, complete the activity, have their guardian/s sign, and return to their classroom teacher.

    Attendance:

Tardy: Students must come to class prepared; folder, pencil, gym shoes, books. After 3x unprepared, student will serve 1 detention.
Please contact the office in the event that your student will be absent from school.

About Me

  • Hello! I am Mrs. L'Esperance. I am married to my husband, Corey. We have three children; Aubrey, Jackson, and Hallie. We are new to Mott and so excited to be here!

Although I am not new to education, this is my first year teaching with Mott-Regent Elementary School. I absolutely LOVE teaching. I look forward to many more fun years ahead!
